The Grundtvig Movement of Nigeria is part of an international network of similar Grundtvigian movements.
Through its cooperating NGO in Denmark, The Association of Danish Folk High Schools (FFD), the GMN has enjoyed much support from the Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA) which includes building constructions, provision of funds for the Grundtvig Institute Graduate Self-Employment Loan Scheme (GIGSELS), staff exchanges and development in Denmark.
The Grundtvig Movement of Nigeria is also a member of the Association For World Education (AWE), an NGO with consultative status to the United Nations (UN), with headquarters in Denmark.
